Our Beef Tallow & Coconut Oil blend is a unique product that brings cooks & chefs all the benefits found in healthy Plant Based & Animal Based Fats in a single cooking oil / fat.
We have carefully blended Beef Tallow that is sourced from NZ Organically Farmed, Grass Fed, Prime Beef with Pure Coconut Oil. The result is a fantastic cooking fat that has a very high smoke-point and adds a savoury flavour to the food being cooked.
As we use Pure deodourised coconut oil, there is no coconut aroma or flavour, just the mild delicious umami that comes from the Beef Tallow.
USES:
Use to sear & cook meat & vegetables. Being a high heat cooking fat, you can crisp up roast potatoes like a chef. Seared steak, burger patties, chops all get beautifully caramalised.
