Our Refined Beef Tallow & Coconut Oil blend is a unique product that brings cooks & chefs all the benefits found in healthy Plant Based & Animal Based Fats in a single cooking oil / fat.
We have carefully blended Refined Beef Tallow that is sourced from a NZ manufacturer with Pure Coconut Oil. The result is a fantastic cooking fat that has a very high smoke-point and adds a mild, savoury flavour to the food being cooked.
As we use Pure deodourised coconut oil, there is no coconut aroma or flavour.
Note: The Beef Tallow is refined in NZ using local & imported beef fat.
USES:
Use to sear & cook meat & vegetables. Being a high heat cooking fat, you can crisp up roast potatoes like a chef. Seared steak, burger patties, chops all get beautifully caramalised.
NOTE: We have used Refined Beef Tallow that has almost no beef smell so it maybe suitable for balms, skin care products & soap making.
