Yes, it contains MSG (not the bogeyman it’s made out to be) MSG occurrs naturally in tomatoes, mushrooms, seaweed & cheese. It is also present in protein rich foods, fish & bone broths and contrary to what you may have heard, it is not harmful to the health of most people.
MSG contains about 12% sodium by weight so is lower in Sodium compared to regular table salt which is about 40% sodium by weight,
