Blue Lotus, the flower of Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea, is often known by its common names Blue Lotus flower, Egyptian Blue Lotus flower, Blue Egyptian Water Lily, is a Water Lily of genus Nymphaea.

How to Make Blue Lotus Tea:

1. Boil Water – Heat about 1 cup of water until it reaches a gentle boil.

2. Steep Petals – Add 1 or 2 dried Flowers to a cup or coffee plunger (250 – 500ml). Pour hot water over it.

3. Cover & Infuse – Let it steep for 5-10 minutes to extract flavour and aroma. If needed, add some honey to sweeten.

4. Strain & Serve – Strain the flower and enjoy or leave the flower in the cup and enjoy!

NOTE: The flower can be re-used 2 – 3 times, you will just have to steep it longer in the hot water the 2nd & 3rd time.
