Happy Henhouse Chickenless Pieces are a white meat style plant protein that has a neutral flavour & fantastic texture. Clean & Lean, use as a replacement in recipes using diced pieces of Chicken or Pork.
160g. Vegan, Non-GMO.
Rehydrated makes approximately 500g of plant-based protein.
Happy Henhouse Chickenless Pieces are 100% plant-based protein made in Australia from wheat grown in New South Wales and non-GMO European soy.
With a neutral colour and flavour, it is intended to be rehydrated, seasoned, and cooked with an eating experience similar to pieces of white meat.
15-25mm when dry, Happy Henhouse Plant Based Chickenless Strips increase approximately 1.25 times in size when rehydrated, to 20-30 mm.
Happy Henhouse Chickenless Pieces can be used in a wide variety of dishes as a plant-based protein with authentic meat-like texture and mouthfeel.
The nutritional profile includes 22.5g protein per serve (100g), 3.4g of BCAAs and are a planet-friendly option for vegan dishes, white meat substitute or addition to a meat-based dish.
Happy Henhouse Chickenless Pieces can be pan-seared similar to white meat or added directly into a dish. Suggested meat replacement applications include:

HOW TO PREPARE
Open bag & add 500mls warm water, reseal bag, gently shake, leave to soak for 30 minutes to allow the protein to rehydrate. After 30 minutes, drain excess water from the bag. The protein is then ready to use.
HOW TO COOK
To Cook, simply add rehydrated protein directly into casseroles, stews, curries, pies etc.
Sear in a hot pan or wok to brown then add your other ingredients.
Allow protein to rest for 1-2 minutes before adding your next favourite seasonings, sauces, vegetables etc.
Serve hot or cold.
