ORGANIC DATES 500g

Aseel organic variety of Dates is considered as one of the superior and commercial varieties in Pakistan. It is grown mainly in Khairpur District of Sindh Province through both organic and conventional methods. The Aseel Date Palms stand tall with a beautiful top crown having green ferns around. The fruit gets mature in July – August for harvest. The growers cut the fruit bunches and pick the half ripen pieces for placing under sunlight to turn into soft dates. The rest of 80-90% fruit is detached manually from the bunches then treated with hot water at boiling point. Afterward boiled dates are exposed to sunlight for at least three days which finally turn into dried dates commonly called as Chhohara. The soft dates are processed for cleaning, grading, pitting, dicing then packed in boxes for export or local sales.
