Cocavo’s Raw Linseed Oil – New Zealand grown and produced
Cocavo raw linseed oil is a 100% natural oil, cold pressed from linseed grown on the Canterbury Plains of New Zealand.
USES:
Raw linseed oil has been used to preserve and prevent deterioration of wood for a very long time,producing a natural finish that brings out the beauty of the timber.
• Helps wood to retain natural moisture and prevent drying and cracking
• Maintains, waterproofs and protects wood
• Restores wood and untreated timber to leave a beautiful natural finish
• Use on whakairo to protect & bring out the beauty of the timber. Use on cricket bats, hockey sticks, kitchen chopping boards & blocks, the uses are endless.
APPLICATION:
Apply to wood with a brush or rag and allow to penetrate into the wood naturally. Linseed oil is very slow drying and can take several weeks to fully cure. Several coats may be applied after previous coats have been allowed to dry. For quicker drying times mix 50-50 with turpentine, and wipe away excess with a clean rag. All rags and brushes used must be thoroughly washed.
