HAPPY PADDOCK Protein Bowl
This delicious red meat style Protein Bowl is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Made using Cocavo’s Happy Paddock Red Meat Style Plant Proteins, this dish delivers on flavour & texture.
Ingredients
Rehydrate the Happy Paddock Red Meat Style Proteins in advance.
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp pepper
- 200g rehydrated red meat style diced protein
- 75g quinoa
- 1 egg, boiled
- 50g broccoli
- 50g snow peas
- 1/2 red capsicum
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 2 spring onions chopped
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare Red Meat Style Diced Protein
Step 2
Mix together soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and garlic to make a marinade. Set aside.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan on the stove to medium to high heat. Batch cook the hydrated red meat style pieces, by adding them to the pan and frequently tossing until browned. Pour marinade over pieces and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Step 4
Cook quinoa if using uncooked, follow the instructions on pack. Steam broccoli and beans for about 10 minutes.
Step 5
Boil and peel an egg.
Step 6
Assemble ingredients (beef style pieces, egg, quinoa, broccoli and snow peas) into a bowl and serve with cherry tomatoes and chopped spring onion.
