Moisturising is the biggest and most well-verified benefit that hemp seed oil can deliver. Hemp oil is emollient and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. Hemp seed oil is high in antioxidant constituents: fatty acids like gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), and vitamins A, C, and E. Antioxidant skin care products may help give your skin some protection against premature aging. Hemp oil contains components that have anti-inflammatory properties, and current research suggests it may help relieve skin inflammation.

We’re the UpsideDowns Education Trust, a charity established in 2003 by parents of kids with Down syndrome. For these young people, learning to speak can be a real challenge. That’s why we’re committed to funding the essential speech and language therapy that isn’t provided publicly, and is beyond the means of most Kiwi families.
We’re giving a voice to kids with Down syndrome all over New Zealand and equipping them with the skills to talk, read, and write. By funding their speech and language therapy, we’re ensuring these kids have the best possible start to life.
We currently support over 200 children in every single region of Aotearoa. However, our waitlist is always growing, and our current membership represents only one in five kids with Down syndrome in Aotearoa. Our dream is for all kids with Down syndrome to be able to access this crucial early intervention therapy.
The Trust plays a vital role in improving the learning development of the kids we support. Speech therapy as a child has been proven to dramatically improve the chances of employment and living independently, improve both mental and physical health outcomes, reduce social isolation, and even improve life expectancy for people with Down syndrome.
